My Guy got a very nice job that pays well, has health benefits and will allow him to see us every night. It is in New York City, and far away from my garden. It is also close to many of my friends and my family. We aren't selling our house here in Maine, and I intend to spend most of the zone 5a gardening season here, but the early spring, late fall and warm winters of zone 7 Astoria will be spent in The City.

I can't express my sadness and happiness about this development. It's all tangled up, so my only recourse is to plan a tiny garden in our tiny front yard. It will be small plants that people walking by can enjoy. Highly scented flowers, flashy berry bushes and a espaliered quince against the stoop. I have a lot of plans.
